Patty Aulik, veteran percussion teacher, is now offering drumming workshops for those interested in addictions recovery. She also teaches classes in Afro-Cuban drumming, rhythm play for kids, found sound folk art (creating instruments from recycled items), making shakeres, (beaded gourds) conducts drum circles and community events and offers private lessons. In addition she offers progressive therapeutic drumming sessions to those incarcerated, the elderly, special needs individuals or groups, at-risk youth and interested students.
Patty is director of RhythmSoul Drumming and a registered senior caregiver. She has studied with world Masters in Afro-Cuban folkloric traditional drumming, song and dance. Patty performs performs with Samba Like it Hot! and offers her skills as a costume designer. Patty offers classes to serious students, the not so serious, those who just wanna' have fun, kids, and those with special needs. Drumming, Found Sound instrument making, shakere making and basket making are all classes she offers. All her classes and way, way fun filled with years of studying and teaching experience that guarantee to enrich your life.
